Baby Care Basics Class

My baby care basics class is an engaging, educational, hands-on, and fun experience for our soon to be parents that will help you learn to care for and what to expect during those precious first weeks of your new bundle of joy’s life.

I strongly believe that being properly educated and gaining an understanding on what to expect beforehand can help ease some of the anxiety that some new parents may experience, making this journey so much more memorable.

• Saturdays at 9 a.m., will last approx. 2 – 2.5 hours. Choose one class only

About the baby care basics class instructor: Permichia “Misha” Shelton, RN

I am an experienced registered nurse. Women’s health has been my professional specialty for more than 10 years, and I have treasured every minute of it. I enjoy teaching this baby care basics class to put new parents’ minds at ease.

I have worked with the caring Austin OBGYNs of Women’s Health Texas the majority of my medical career.

My husband and I have two magnificent children, so I am able to contribute both my personal and professional experiences of what early parenthood may be like for you. When not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family because time truly does fly by and your children truly do grow so fast, so I try to enjoy all the priceless time we share together.

REGISTER ONLINE BELOW. To hold your reservation for this baby care class in Austin, mail a check payable to Permichia Shelton, and complete the online registration form below. In the registration form, you will need to select two date options, in case your first choice is full.

We do not have online payment.You will be notified by phone or email when your registration is received. If the baby care basics class is full, you will be accommodated in another class. (Please note: Due to the limited space in each class, refunds will only be given if you deliver before the class starts).

You should plan to finish your classes four to six weeks before your due date. It is important to register for class in the fifth month of your pregnancy.

Please wear comfortable clothes, and bring a pillow for your back. Plan to eat a meal prior to class, as food is not provided. You may register for the class that best suits your schedule. You will be notified by phone or email when your registration is received. If the class is full, you will be accommodated in another class.
