Ashley Shin, PA-C joined Women Partners in Health in 2022, however, has been a practicing OB/GYN Physician Assistant since 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2012. She received her Master of Science degree in Biology Medical Sciences from Mississippi College in 2013. She then received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Health San Antonio in 2018. After graduating, Ashley joined UT Health San Antonio as a clinician in OB/GYN. During her time as a PA at UT Health San Antonio, Ashley was also a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Physician Assistant Studies and a preceptor for PA students on their women’s health rotation.
Ashley has a passion for women’s health and has never veered from the desire to care for women in all stages of life. She enjoys spending time with her patients and truly educating them on diagnoses, while also including her patients on decision making for management.
Ashley is an Austin native and could not wait to come home to Austin after her husband completed his dental residency program in San Antonio. When not working, Ashley enjoys live music, cooking, and trying new restaurants. But most of all, she enjoys spending time with her sweet toddler, Griffin, husband, and two pups.
