Brenna Wise brings her patient care skills to Women Partners in Health. Brenna Wise, RN, MSN, FNP-C, is one of the faces you might see when you visit our office. As an experienced nurse practitioner, she provides patients with compassionate and comprehensive women’s healthcare.
Partnering with our practice made sense because Brenna is a native Texan who has lived in Austin for over a decade. She has been interested in medicine since she began her undergraduate education. She graduated magna cum laude in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in kinesiology from St. Edward’s University in Austin.
After completing her undergraduate education, Brenna earned her Master of Science in nursing (MSN) with a concentration in maternity administration from the University of Texas in Austin. She then worked at St. David’s Medical Center where she also served as a nurse preceptor and a nursing instructor at the medical center. She went on to work in family practice.
Brenna completed a distance-learning program for her post-master’s certificate. She received her family nurse practitioner certification from Samford University in May 2016. Brenna holds a variety of professional certifications, including CPR/AED and BLS. She is also AANP-licensed and a professional member.
Working in women’s health has always been one of Brenna’s interests. She is happy to join Women Partners in Health and work with our patients and doctors. “I love the patient interactions, spending time with the patient and coming up with solutions and treatment plans for them. I especially enjoy working with adolescent and college-age patients.”
When she is not working, Brenna enjoys running, cooking, baking and wine tastings. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and college sweetheart, Clint. She stays busy chasing her toddler daughter, Charli, infant son, Everett, and her dog and cat.
