Tara Mills MD joined Renaissance Women’s Group in 2004. She currently chairs the OBGYN Department at North Austin Medical Center. Our Austin OBGYN has a passion for high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive robotic surgery and gynecologic/obstetrical ultrasound.
Her approach to women’s healthcare is compassionate and comprehensive. She believes that all women deserve a caring partner to help them achieve and maintain a lifetime of good health. This involves providing care for every age and stage, while also providing a compassionate listening ear.
Tara Mills MD grew up in Pleasanton, Texas. For college, she attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with high honors. Her peers also elected her to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
She completed her medical school and residency training at the University of Texas at Houston/Hermann Hospital. There, she was Administrative Chief Resident and outstanding Chief Resident, which gave her a wealth of knowledge and experience. She is board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Not only that, Dr. Tara Mills is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Outside of work, Dr. Tara Mills enjoys spending time with her husband and two adorable children. She also loves running, watching college football (UT) and traveling with her family.
Her greatest passion is helping her patients overcome any issues with their health so that they can live happy and healthy lives.
